I am based in the Cotswolds, close to the beautiful village of Broadway, Worcestershire. Providing classic and contemporary picture framing, gilding, and frame restoration services. My aim is to offer a professional and informed service, giving you the peace of mind that your art is in good hands. I hope to offer the solution to your framing needs, whatever the budget or requirements. I am able to advise on the most suitable techniques for framing your art work, working to preservation and museum standards when necessary. The framing business is dynamic in that while many techniques are very traditional, there are many areas that are developing with new and improved practices and technology, I always attempt to keep up to date with the latest methods and offer these services to my clients.
Classic and contemporary picture framing - So whether it is an ultra modern float mounted canvas in a box frame, to a contemporary water gilded and painted frame, or a traditional washline mount with reproduction English swept frame, to the sympathetic restoration of a 16th Century Italian Cassetta frame. I have dealt with many different types of picture framing projects over the years, and feel I am able to cope with almost any challenge, but every company has its limitations and should I not be able to deal with a job, I am sure I will know someone in the framing business who I can recommend. I am a member of the Professional Picture Framers Association (PPFA), the international trade framing association that sets the standards for techniques, materials and quality of service in picture framing. Their vision is simple: to be the leading resource for picture framing success and to encourage artisans to hone the time-honored skills of framing. I am also a member of the Society of Gilders, which is a non-profit educational organisation devoted to the art and craft of gilding. The mission is to preserve traditional gilding skills and techniques, and to promote the highest standards in the practice of gilding. 
I intend to gradually add to the content on this website to hopefully provide a useful resource for information on good framing practices, with links to websites and articles on framing, gilding, restoration, antique frames and frame history.
